Journalling & Reflective Wellbeing

A bit of paper. A useful question. Somewhere to think.

A guided, welcoming group for people who want space to reflect, slow down and make sense of what is going on — without being expected to produce beautiful prose or tell strangers everything.

The short version

What is it?

Facilitated sessions built around carefully chosen prompts, quiet writing time, optional discussion and useful psychological ideas explained plainly.

You can write a few words, several pages, draw, make notes or simply think. The notebook is a tool, not a test.

What actually happens

A typical session

  1. 01

    Arrive and settle

A simple opening activity helps the room become a room, rather than a collection of people wondering where to put their coat.

  2. 02

    A guided prompt

Enough explanation to get started, followed by quiet time to write or reflect in your own way.

  3. 03

    Optional conversation

People can share thoughts about the process or the theme. Nobody is required to disclose personal details.

  4. 04

    A practical close

We finish clearly, often with grounding or a useful idea to take away.

Might it suit me?

You do not have to think of yourself as “a journaller”.

It may suit you if your head feels busy, you would like a calmer way to reflect, or being with other people in a low-pressure setting sounds useful.

It is not creative-writing tuition, group therapy or a demand to keep a perfect daily diary.

If you are unsure, ask. A straightforward conversation is usually more useful than making you decode a page of eligibility language.
