When life feels crowded, stressful or stuck, knowing where to start can be difficult.
Cat & Crow is bringing three free six-week wellbeing programmes to Torfaen. Small, welcoming groups, practical activities and no pressure to share personal experiences.
Six weekly sessionsEach session lasts two hours, with a break.
Small groupsUp to ten participants, with two facilitators.
Free funded placesNo charge for eligible participants.
Choice about taking partWriting, drawing, quiet reflection and optional conversation, depending on the activity. Printed materials are available.
Ask us about access, writing or any practical support you need to take part. These are community wellbeing sessions, rather than therapy or clinical treatment.
Who can join?
Free places for eligible Torfaen residents aged 18–64.
The Trailblazer-funded programmes are for people who are not in paid work and face a health, wellbeing, confidence, social or practical barrier to taking part.
The funding rules also require that you have either not actively looked for work in the last four weeks, or are not available to start work in the next two weeks.
That could include health difficulties, caring responsibilities, low confidence or feeling isolated. You don’t need a diagnosis or to tell us your personal story.
Not sure whether you qualify? Get in touch. We’ll check eligibility privately before confirming a funded place and explain other options where appropriate.
A first step
Register your interest.
Tell us which programme interests you, or choose “Not sure yet”. We’ll get in touch about programme details and the next steps.
This is an expression of interest, not a confirmed booking. Dates and venues are still being arranged.
Please keep this to a basic enquiry. Eligibility checks and registration happen separately and privately.
Enquiries from referrers and community organisations are welcome too. Please don’t include someone else’s personal details; use our referral enquiry route to ask about the process.
Supported by Torfaen County Borough Council through the Trailblazer Community Grant.
